The Lottery and Perils of Indifferance

1) The Danger of being despicable

2)The ending of "The Lottery" to me and most people does seem disturbing. The village people were able to take Tessies life without showing and emotiong or empathy. They did it a second time so she would have her husband murdered. The village people were able to take Tessies life like it was normal. I would relate this carless act to what is happening right now in Darfur. The army over in Africa are taking young children and brainwashing them with thoughts saying its okay to kill someone and not feel anything. They want to make these children cold hearted and Canada nor the US are doing anything about it. We are sitting here in a computler class writing about this like its okay, when right now at this very moment families are being killed and the young men are being taken from the homes to make the army bigger. The boys in Darfur start training at a young age to be able to kill people with no feeling.
